Flowers are everywhere. The weird part is that there is never any grass. I cannot wait until the Cherry Blossoms bloom. They are supposed to be beautiful.

You will see temple sales all over. In the United States we would call these "yard sales".

Some of the people on the train. People are either texting or sleeping. Here we see some of both.

A sign hanging at a playground. I can actually make out a few of the symbols, but not enough to know what it says.

This is a sign to a famous Chinese restaurant in Kobe. Our cul-de-sac is behind this restaurant.

Streams like this are everywhere you walk. This is one on the way to the JR train line. Matt said we have one behind our house and while I have heard it, I have yet to venture out the back door.

Thought you may want to see a picture of me in action. I didn't realize how hard mirror shots are!

We went to a friend's beach house over the weekend. The girls had a blast riding the tandem bike –– until the chain fell off. Needless to say we had to use the "Barney", the purple golf cart, to rescue them.

We have the most strange looking fungus growing in our backyard. It was so strange that I couldn't resist taking a picture of it.

Welcome

Welcome to my 365 day photo project! Everyday I will take a picture of something, someone, or someplace and then post it. Some days I may just post a picture, other days I may post a few words, a caption or even a quote.

I am hoping to achieve many things by doing this. First, I am hoping to improve in my photography skills. Second, our family is embarking on an amazing adventure and I am hoping to document every second of the way. Third, I think it will be neat to look back after the 365 days and see what had been going on each day.

My plan is to update this everyday, or nearly everyday. In addition, I will also be posting each picture on my flickr account. I hope you enjoy this project as much as I will!
